Small, labelled ads in your coding agent. You get paid for them.

Clickback shows developers one sponsored line when their agent finishes a turn, and pays them for every ad they see and more for the ones they click. Advertisers pay to reach them, per view and per click, from a prepaid balance.

This is what an ad looks like in Claude Code:

Sponsored · Shipfast: Deploy Laravel apps in 30 seconds → shipfast.example.com · https://clickback.dev/c/m3VRPuIHlaxN

It always says Sponsored and who paid for it, then the headline, the real domain the link goes to, and a short link through Clickback so we can count the click.

For developers

  • Install the Claude Code plugin and paste in your token. That is the whole setup.
  • The ad is shown to you, not to the model, so it costs you no tokens and never changes what your agent does.
  • You see at most 40 ads a day, at least 2 minutes apart.
  • You get 60% of what the advertiser pays for every ad you see and every ad you click.
  • Credits are held for 14 days so we can catch fraud, then paid out through Stripe once you have $50.00 available.
  • Your profile is optional. Filling it in means more ads match you, so you earn more.
  • Report any ad that looks wrong and you won't see it again. We review every report.

For advertisers

  • Reach developers while they work, in the tool they are already looking at.
  • Top up a prepaid balance, from $50.00. There is no subscription.
  • Every ad shown costs $0.002, which is $2.00 per thousand.
  • Clicks are bid for. Set a maximum cost per click from $0.25 and you pay just enough to beat the next ad, never more than your bid.
  • Target by role, experience, languages, frameworks, company size and country, or show your ad to everyone.
  • Set a daily budget. Spend is spread across the day.
  • Every ad is reviewed before it runs. The domain we print must be where the link actually goes.

Why this is fair

The person who looks at the ad gets paid for it. Ads are clearly marked, reviewed before they run and easy to report, and they only go to people who chose to install the plugin.

Repeat clicks from the same person on the same ad pay less each time and soon nothing at all. There is no point clicking one ad over and over, and advertisers aren't charged full price when it happens.
